A Quick Note About Our Website
Funny Or Die has evolved as a company since we launched in 2007. We’re now in our teenage years, which means we’re undergoing changes in order to evolve. Our website is part of that change (also we have a lot more body hair and acne).
FunnyOrDie.com now serves as a place to showcase the award-winning work we've done as an independent comedy studio over the years, featuring creations in television, film, digital, and podcasts. With this change, the site will be a part of our wider distribution efforts, but will no longer be our primary publishing platform. We’ll still be creating original comedy in many forms, and you’ll still find it on all of our social media platforms, digital video platforms, TV networks, and theaters where you see us now. In fact, with less focus on operating our website, we’ll have some more resources to make your experiences even better in all those places, with a renewed focus on our mission to create and showcase unique, original, exceptional comedy with a diverse group of up-and-coming and well-known creators alike.
What does this mean for you?
- Experience. Instead of focusing on operating a content website powered by ads to keep the lights on, we're now focused on providing the best way to showcase our projects and enjoy our library, which you can experience ad-free here on funnyordie.com or on Funny Or Die's official Medium publication.
- The Library. All the same articles and videos on our website to date will soon accessible via the Funny Or Die Library.
- Contributors. In addition to the above changes, moving forward, publishing on Funny Or Die as a Certified Contributor will take place on our Medium page. If you're interested in applying for Certified Contributor, let us know. If you're a current Certified Contributor, keep an eye out for additional details.
If you are one of the millions of people who have watched, read, or created comedy on our website over the years: THANK YOU! We hope you’ll continue to enjoy our work wherever you spend time on or off the Internet, and, to that end, here's where you can find our stuff:
